Trade Training Centre – Hospitality
Catering for the future
Aldinga Campus goes commercial
Designed as the first of a series of two-storey buildings along the arrival promenade of the Aldinga College, the Hospitality Centre is a commercial catering kitchen providing Certificate 3 level TAFE curriculum for College students as well as community and adult re-entry courses. The first stage of the construction has been completed with provision for a learning space above. The first floor slab has been laid under the temporary roof. As the master plan evolves, this building will form part of the northern side of the senior courtyard and is located immediately east of the future administration centre. In this location the dining room will supplement a welcoming, spacious arrival area complete with savoury aromas and coffee for visitors. The centre is managed by Virginia Dolphin with her team. Virginia’s experience and expertise ensured a truly first class facility of which the College is rightfully proud. The facility combined with Virginia’s team provides a much needed service to the Aldinga area. The exquisite interiors and finishes: thanks to project architect and interior designer, Dennis Kipridis
